Our heart for Sojourn Sunday Mornings is to draw students closer to God through learning about who he is and what he has done and is doing in the world. To this end, we focus on seeing the central message of Jesus Christ (the Gospel) as it is expressed throughout the whole of the Bible.
We are convinced that the Bible is not just a bunch of interesting stories with moral applications—a list of do’s and don’ts. Rather, God has revealed so much about himself in the Scriptures, as well as how we fit in to what he is doing in the world. We want students to walk away from these detailed studies of the Bible and theology forever changed. Recognizing that all the Scriptures point to Jesus and that the Gospel transforms students’ lives, our prayer and earnest desire is to see students experience that transformation.
