Missions

Here at Capitol City, we deeply desire that people from all nations would have the joy of knowing and treasuring Christ. That is why we are so committed to efforts to proclaim the gospel outside of our church walls – here in Northeast Lincoln, Lancaster County, and even to the ends of the earth. We support over 30 local and global partners who work in various contexts, all with the aim of celebrating and proclaiming the gospel.

Deaf Missions exist because only 2% of Deaf people around the globe have been introduced to Jesus. Deaf Missions works to point these individuals to Jesus through their efforts in translating, training, and reaching Deaf people for Christ. Through each of these efforts, Deaf Missions desires to see the lives of Deaf people transformed and impacted through God’s Word in their native and heart language - sign language.
